Face Masks and Facial Coverings:
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Harris Teeter’s most urgent priority has been the safety of our valued associates and loyal shoppers. We have adhered to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to guide our policies.
In light of the Delta variant and updated CDC recommendations, effective August 2, we are strongly encouraging everyone to wear a mask in our stores. This includes all associates and customers regardless of vaccination status. We will continue to require masks for unvaccinated associates and encourage everyone to receive the manufacturer recommended dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
To further safeguard our associates and shoppers, we will continue to implement enhanced cleaning practices and physical distancing across all locations as well as offer associates a $100 one-time payment for receiving the recommended doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. We also encourage shoppers to visit www.harristeeter.com/covidcare to make an appointment. Many pharmacies are also accepting walk-in appointments for added convenience.

Physical distancing is deliberately increasing the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. When possible, please maintain a distance of at least six feet to protect yourself, your fellow shoppers and our valued associates.
To practice safe social distancing at checkout, look for the "Stand Here" floor decals.

In-store Seating Reduction/Removal: We are adhering to mandates and recommendations from federal, state and local agencies, including the CDC and other health organizations.
