Improvements include a variety of remodels and enhanced amenities, along with an overall focus on service and freshness that will elevate the customer shopping experience throughout the greater Charleston area.

The market refresh project is currently underway and marks a new chapter in Harris Teeter's 48-year relationship with Charleston, having first opened its doors to the historic South Carolina community in 1977. Building on nearly five decades of trusted service, Harris Teeter is advancing its passion for customer care and fresh, quality products even further. The refreshed stores reflect Harris Teeter's dedication to evolving with the needs of Charleston shoppers while celebrating the region's rich culinary heritage and vibrant culture.

Harris Teeter will celebrate its love of the Lowcountry with a series of grand reopening “Taste of Teeter” events across Charleston, kicking off on June 18 with a ribbon cutting at Six Mile Marketplace Harris Teeter located at 2195 Tea Planters Lane in Mt. Pleasant. “Taste of Teeter” events to follow include:

• June 19 – St. Andrews Center Harris Teeter, 975 Savannah Highway, Charleston, 4-8 p.m.
• June 20 – Harbor View Harris Teeter, 1005 Harbor View Rd., Charleston, 4-8 p.m.
• June 21 – Rivertowne Place Harris Teeter, 2035 Hwy 41, Mt. Pleasant, 12-4 p.m.

The public is invited to join us for complimentary tasting events featuring local products and much more. Additional celebrations will follow at other renovated locations throughout the summer. All events are free and open to the public.

The Taste of Teeter celebrations will showcase regional specialties including Palmetto Cheese (homestyle pimento cheese), Lowcountry boils featuring local shrimp and crab, Charleston coffee, and other beloved Lowcountry cuisine. VIC card members can also enjoy special savings, including double Fuel Points promotions during the celebration period.

Enhanced amenities across the refreshed stores include updated produce, meat, and seafood departments, upgraded finishes and decor, and more.
