    Due to the large volume of applications received on a daily basis, it is impossible for us to personally respond to every candidate. However, you will receive an email when applying for any position stating that your application is only active for 30 days from the date of submission. If you have not heard from us within the 30 day time frame, you will need to re-apply. Also, please note that where Harris Teeter is always accepting online applications, we may not be actively hiring for a specific position due to a lack of need at a given time.

    All computers have their own specific internal settings which usually work with most online application sites however; there may be a setting on your personal computer that will not allow the website or parts of the application process to load. In many cases turning off your pop up blocker will solve the problem. If have turned off your pop up blocker and are still having problems, you can go to your local public library and use a computer there to start or complete your application. Access to a computer and the internet at most local libraries is available free of charge.

    Currently Harris Teeter does not hire individuals 15 years of age or younger. Individuals who are 16 and 17 years old may be limited to certain positions due to safety regulations.

    Harris Teeter begins hiring for new locations a number of weeks prior to the store opening date. If you are looking for a specific new store but cannot find it in your search, check back at a later date. Positions will display online once the new store hiring process begins.
