Doug and Linda Wilson own and operate DL&B and grow approximately 1,250 acres of vegetables. They have been operating the farm for more than four decades. They grow, harvest and pack all their own produce.

Patterson Farm, Inc. is a third generation family farm that was started in 1919 as a row crop and cotton farm. Today, fresh North Carolina tomatoes are grown on 300 of their 500 acres. Patterson Farm has been a valued partner to Harris Teeter for more than 20 years.
Scott Farms is a third generation family farm. The Scotts have been farming the land near Lucama, North Carolina since before the Civil War. Scott Farms includes around 5,000 acres of sandy-loam soils perfect for growing the delicious sweet potatoes they proudly provide for Harris Teeter.

Gerry Odell’s roots run deep in the SC low country. His tomatoes have been growing there for more than 60 years. He currently harvests 1000 acres and has been providing tasty tomatoes to Harris Teeter for 15 years. They produce about 2.5 million pounds of tomatoes in SC a year!

Springs Farm is dedicated to providing our customers with fresh and local produce. Springs brings strawberries and summer brings peaches, two of their most popular fruits! Their 70 acres of peach fields bring in around 50 different varieties of both cling and freestone peaches that our customers love! During the summer season they also grow a wide variety of homegrown, fresh produce.

The Shuman family has been in the Vidalia sweet onion industry for more than 25 years. Harris Teeter has proudly partnered for more than eight years with the Shumans due to their commitment to discipline, quality, customer service, food safety and community outreach.
Sweetwater Growers is a partnership of two families, growing herbs through a method called hydroponics. Hydroponics is the science of growing plants of all kinds using water and a nutrient type mixture rather than in soil.

C&E Farms was established in 1986 by Phil Colson and Lester Erlemeier in Cheriton, Virginia. They were the pioneers of hydro-cooling green beans. Their dedication to quality and service make them excellent partners for Harris Teeter.

Established in 1912, Crown Orchard Company is a fifth generation, family owned and operated orchard, located in Albemarle County, Virginia. The Chiles family has been producing top quality fruit for almost a century. Crown Orchard provides Harris Teeter with donut peaches, white peaches, white nectarines and yellow nectarines.

Parker Farms started in 1974 as a pick-your-own operation. A few generations later, this family-run farm is currently farming more than 3,500 acres in various states and packaging their own produce.
Shenandoah Growers has been farming fresh culinary herbs for more than two decades on land that has been continuously worked for more than 150 years. They supply Harris Teeter with a complete variety of fresh herbs year-round.
Orr Orchards is a family owned and operated farm located in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Orr Orchards has grown since 1964 to well over 1,000 acres producing more than a half million bushels of fruit annually. The fruits are all carefully harvested by hand and then stored on the farm for packing and shipping to your local Harris Teeter and you.

Third generation farmer Steve Groff has been farming for 25 years. He grew his family’s farm to more than 300 acres of vegetables like tomatoes, corn and pumpkins. He provides Harris Teeter with quality heirloom tomatoes.
Ron and Brenda Copenhaver have been farming since 1986. The whole family gets involved during the peak harvest season. They provide us with longer lasting hydro-cooled green beans.

In Chambersburg, an area known for peaches and apples, Hess Farms was the first farm to start growing vegetables. They began in 1986 and currently farm 140 acres.

Hogeland Farms was started by four brothers, Bob, Jerry, Bill and Dan in 1976. They have more than 43 years of farming experience. They currently farm more than 350 acres of land.

The Forrester family has been farming since 1879, and Forrester Produce is part of the sixth generation of farmers. Arnie and Lynn Forrester grow 250 acres of Primus-certified Athena cantaloupes in the Florida Panhandle.
