Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

If there’s something better than your favorite pizza flavors piled on top of fresh baked buttery bread, we don’t know about it! Pro tip: Be sure not to slice through the base of the loaf when slicing.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Yield: 8 servings

  • 1 La Brea Bakery Sourdough Loaf (not pre-sliced)
  • 1 stick of Harris Teeter Butter, melted
  • ½ cup Harris Teeter Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Pepperoni Slices
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Fancy Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Place the loaf on a cutting board.  Using a serrated bread knife, cut the bread diagonally in rows across the top, down to ¾” from the base.  Holding the bread gently from the top, repeat cutting through rows in the other direction to create diamond-shaped wedges.

  3. Transfer the loaf to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.  Drizzle the butter onto the loaf, separating the wedges so the butter soaks in.  Repeat the process with the tomato sauce.

  4. Wedge pepperoni slices between each slice of bread, then stuff the cheese in and scatter on top.

  5. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.   Remove the foil and bake another 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and the pizza bread is warmed through.

  6. Serve immediately.

  • 1 package Harris Teeter Premium Bacon, cooked and chopped
  • Optional garnish: Sliced green onions

Spinach & Artichoke Strata

When home-gating starts early, kick-off the festivities with this Spinach & Artichoke Strata.  We love that you prep it a day in advance so all you have to do in the morning is put it in the oven!

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour, 20 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 50 minutes + overnight refrigeration

Yield: 10 servings

  • 1 La Brea Bakery Whole Grain Loaf (not pre-sliced), cut into 1” cubes
  • 12 ounces Frozen Harris Teeter Chopped Spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 15 oz. can HT Traders Quartered Artichoke Hearts, rinsed and squeezed dry
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups HT Traders Shredded Gruyere Cheese
  • 1 cup Harris Teeter Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 9 large Harris Teeter eggs
  • 2 cups Harris Teeter Half & Half
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

  1. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and add the onion.  Cook over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.  Add the garlic, and continue cooking, until fragrant – about another minute.  Remove from heat and add to a large bowl.

  2. To the same bowl add the spinach and the artichokes, both squeezed dry of extra liquid.  Add the bread and cheeses to the veggies and toss to coat.

  3. Pour the bread mixutre out into a greased 9x13 baking dish.

  4. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, half & half, and salt and pepper to taste.  Pour over the bread, ensuring the mixture gets into the corners.  Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

  5. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Bake for 30 minutes, covered.  Remove foil and bake another 45-50 minutes or until bubbly and warmed through.
