It's easy!

Just use your VIC card, spend $40* or more at Harris Teeter in one shopping trip for 14 out of 16 weeks between January 7th and April 28th, 2009.
Each visit, a status update will be printed at the bottom of your receipt.
After you qualify, a reward notice will be printed at the bottom of your receipt.
Simply bring your VIC card and qualifying receipt to Customer Service and you'll get your one (1) $25 Gas Card (choice of BP or Shell brands) FREE!

In addition, e-VIC members that qualify** will receive a second $25 gas card! Simply join e-VIC by April 7, 2009 and you’ll be able to earn $50 in FREE Gas.

* Purchase must be $40 or more at Harris Teeter excluding money orders, gift cards, postage stamps, lottery/event tickets, coupons or any discounts. One redemption per household. Redeem between April 8 and May 12, 2009. We reserve the right to substitute a reward of equal cost.

Program Specifics
To be eligible to receive credit for your weekly shopping, you must spend $40 or more in a single order, after all discounts, coupons and exclusions, and use your VIC card.

Orders exclude purchase of all money orders, postage stamps, gift cards and lottery/event tickets.

Week numbers change each Wednesday (January 7 – April 28, 2009).

First qualifying order must take place on or before January 27, 2009 in order to potentially qualify for your $50 in Gas Cards.

There is a limit of $50 in Gas Cards (two $25 gas cards) per household, based on customer information in the Harris Teeter VIC database. Redemption period is scheduled from April 8 through May 12, 2009.

Join e-VIC at www.harristeeter.com no later than April 7, 2009. You must have a VIC card and valid e-mail address to join. A verification e-mail must be processed and returned for your enrollment to be complete.

If $25 Gas Card inventories are depleted or if Harris Teeter encounters any systematic issues that prevent our stores from rewarding these cards, we reserve the right to substitute a reward of equal cost.

If, for any reason, the Gas Card Giveaway cannot be conducted as planned, either by reason of infection by computer virus bugs, tampering or unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of Harris Teeter or if there is any issue to affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or conduct of this Giveaway, Harris Teeter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend all or part of this Giveaway.

Harris Teeter reserves the right to disqualify any recipients determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Gas Card Giveaway.

Non-response by the reward recipient, not meeting eligibility requirements, not complying with the requirements of the Giveaway or choosing to decline the reward for any reason will be considered recipient’s forfeiture of reward.

This Giveaway, and all of its parts, is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Harris Teeter, Ruddick Corporation, their affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and the employees, officers and directors of all such parties assume no responsibility or liability for, and all participants agree to release and hold them harmless from and against, any damages, injuries, losses, claims or causes of action of any kind arising from participation in this promotion, the operation of this Contest or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the reward.
