We promise to make you aware when products that may cause health problems and were available in our stores have been recalled via this page. As one of our Very Important Customers (VIC), card members we can also make you aware of recalls such as these via e-mail or by phone. Harris Teeter is proud to take extra steps such as these to help ensure that you and your family have the information that you need.

However, we need your help. To receive Class I product recall information via phone or by e-mail you will need to update your VIC card information. Being a VIC card member provides a variety of benefits including: weekly specials, raising money for schools, entry into sweepstakes, loyalty rewards, and now up to date recall data on the foods you purchase. Please take a minute to update your current information in our VIC database.

Knot Rolls Sold in Bulk Bins

Recall: 
Harris Teeter today announced it is voluntarily recalling a Harris Teeter Fresh Foods Market Bakery bread product (sold in the bulk bins), because the product contains eggs which are not declared on the ingredient label affixed to the exterior of the bulk bins from which the bread product is sold.

This recall only affects the Knot Rolls bread product that is sold from the bulk bins.

Harris Teeter has removed the recalled product from the bulk bins in its Fresh Foods Market Bakery and packaged the product to include the correct ingredient label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of an allergic reaction if they consume this product.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product can return the product to Harris Teeter for a full refund.  Consumers with questions may contact Harris Teeter at 1-800-432-6111, option 2, Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. or Saturday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
