Chef Philip Anderson has been cooking professionally for many years.

“Learning about food is very important to me and it has taken me all over the world.”

To that end, he has studied at premier culinary schools and institutes and has been featured in a variety of festivals. He assisted Team USA in the 1992 Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt Germany and is certified by the American Culinary Federation and the World Association of Chefs Societies.

Always being innovative and watchful of food trends, Chef Phil has been working in the Harris Teeter Fresh Foods Department creating freshly prepared salads, entreés and sumptuous desserts for many years. When training Harris Teeter’s Culinary Professionals, he insists upon creating food that tastes good, talking with Harris Teeter guests and always being accommodating and helpful.
