Contest Winners

|
When Harris Teeter decided to launch a new line of pet products, Vice President of Marketing and Advertising, Chuck Corbeil, came up with the perfect way to tell the stories of just how much we humans love our pets.
Harris Teeter held a contest where all employees could send in a photo of their dogs and compete for a chance to be featured on a bag of dog food, puppy chow, treats, or other dog products.
The winners all provide true examples of just how much pets enrich our lives. We held a special contest for the puppy bag. Bonnie Howard who works at corporate in Training and Development won the chance to be featured alongside her new adopted puppy. She brought her home from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter, one of four lab mix puppies found abandoned and nursed back to health. Now, Penelope will have a great new home where she can start the year in a loving family.
Bonnie says, "She’s very sweet, a friendly, good natured puppy. She has become a very good friend to a 5 year-old and is adjusting well. She is a great addition to the family and we are very happy to have had this opportunity to adopt her."
Take a look at all of our winners and the furry friends that are always happy to welcome them home after a hard day’s work at Harris Teeter…
