Harris Teeter® is proud to introduce Ocean Song, a family of wines made exclusively for Harris Teeter®.
Ocean Song wines are made at Adler Fels Winery under the direction of head winemaker Harry Parducci Jr. His winemaking and viticulture experience spans more than 30 years at prominent Sonoma wineries, including Valley of the Moon, Kenwood and Chateau Diana. Harry joined Adler Fels in 2000 and serves as Director of Winemaking for the company’s entire wine brand portfolio.
The Ocean Song Vineyards’ wines champion the ideal union of grape variety and growing site in a line of premium Central Coast wines noted for their approachable style, forward fruit and food-friendly balance. In the cellar, each lot is kept separate to retain the regional/site integrity. Gentle handling and artful blending ensure optimal balance between depth of flavor and palate structure.
"Ocean Song is a best-of-both-worlds line of wines," notes winemaker Harry Parducci Jr. "From Monterey we get wonderfully ripe and beautifully structured white wines owing to the region’s coastal fog and ocean breezes and from Paso Robles we get deeply flavored and complex red wines as a result of the warmer climate and diverse, bedrock soils."
Ocean Song Wines
Pinot Grigio is refreshingly crisp with bright aromatics and lively flavors of melon, pear, and grapefruit.
Chardonnay is soft, fruity, and round with apple, pear, and nectarine flavors and aromas.
Cabernet Sauvignon is lush, silky, and rich with flavors of crushed red berries and a touch of oak on the finish.
Merlot is dense, spicy, and fruity exhibiting aromas of red cherry and black pepper and flavors of jammy fruit with a hint of sandalwood.
Pinot Noir has a slightly sweet spice aroma layered with notes of bright cherry and raspberry. The mid-palate is lush, but delineated with some acidity. Fruit notes of raspberry and cherry linger in the aftertaste and emerge after oak notes subside.
