Solicitation Requests
|
Over the years, Harris Teeter has allowed non-profit organizations to solicit funds in front of stores in many neighborhoods through out the south east. The funds collected help to improve our communities and provide additional funding for special projects with groups such as the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and the Salvation Army.
If you are interested in scheduling a solicitation event with Harris Teeter, please follow these easy steps.
1) Write your request on your organization's letterhead, including the purpose of your request; preferred store location, date and time, as well as a copy of your 501(c)(3) status.
2) Send written requests to Harris Teeter's Corporate Communication Department with a minimum of four weeks lead time to:

3) Harris Teeter limits outside solicitations to two events, per store, per month.
4) Harris Teeter will not be able to accommodate solicitation requests from September – December, or mid February – mid March. During these months Harris Teeter will be holding point of purchase contribution programs at its registers.
5) Solicitation event requests are reviewed on a monthly basis. Please plan ahead and give as much advanced notice as possible.
*Note: Solicitation is not allowed in our Northern Virginia and Maryland markets or at our Distribution Centers.
