Yourwellness for Families – It’s FREE, It’s fun, It’s for YOU!
Created on 1/8/2010

I am very excited to tell you that our newly updated yourwellness for families program will again be available in 2010 FREE of charge!

As you’ll recall, the yourwellness for families program is designed to help you and your children (even your grandchildren!) get healthy, stay healthy, and feel great. The program is a life enhancement program, not simply a weight management plan, though aspects of it can be used to help you and your loved ones achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

The FREE yourwellness for families guide outlines an easy to follow 15-week plan of action to help optimize your family’s health and wellbeing, and it all starts with YOU!

Your kids look to you as a role model, following your lead especially when it comes to issues like eating well, exercise, and stress management. When you begin the yourwellness for families program your children will notice, and may want to participate, too. That’s why the components of the adult and children’s programs are presented side-by-side, to help introduce healthy diet and lifestyle habits that work for everyone.

And because you are all doing the program together, those habits can become a way of life for the entire family.

In addition to the FREE guidebook (now available in print at your local Harris Teeter or downloadable at harristeeter.com), a FREE 7-Day Meal Planner is available online, also at harristeeter.com, to help make eating healthily both easy and enjoyable.

And, of course, if you have questions send them to me right here at Dr. Russ’ blog. Each week I review your questions and select one to answer that I hope will serve the interests of the community at large.

With seemingly too much information and too little time, it can be hard to provide our children with what they need to stay well, while trying to stay healthy ourselves (!). We hope the yourwellness for families program guide proves to be a valuable resource for you and your loved ones, and helps you all to be (and stay) well.
