Its - an avocado?
Yes - the humble avocado is experiencing a renaissance of sorts.
Most people enjoy guacamole, which is of course made with avocado, but finding other ways to use avocado might escape many of us.
- adding avocado to your salad?
- placing it on a sandwich?
- spreading it on crackers or bread?
- including it in your burrito?
Besides tasting really good, avocado can be really good for us - it's a nice source of both fiber and heart-healthy monounsaturated fat.
Just one word of caution - avocados are relatively high in calories, so enjoy them in moderation.
Avocados - another healthy way to go green!
