It's fun! It's family friendly! It's FREE! It's Harris Teeter's new yourwellness for Families program!

Last year we offered our yourwellness for Life program, a 15-week wellness program for adults intended to help you get healthy, stay healthy, and feel great. The response was tremendous, and many of you kindly shared your yourwellness health successes with us. So many, in fact, that we decided it was important to offer age-appropriate wellness information for the younger members of the family, too! That was the genesis of our new, FREE yourwellness for Families program, a 15-week wellness plan designed to help optimize the entire family's health and wellbeing.

The FREE yourwellness guide outlines a reasonable program of stress management, healthy nutrition, physical activity and more that you and your loved ones can participate in together. When you begin the yourwellness for Families program your children will notice, and they'll likely want to join in, too! Now they have their own unique program just for kids. Components of the adult and children's programs are presented side-by-side so you can experience the journey towards enhanced wellness together.

Harris Teeter offers a wide variety of products to support your efforts to attain greater health, from the nutritious foods available in our stores, to wellness keys, to recipe ideas and videos on our web site, to our bi-monthly newsletter where you can receive not only helpful health information and delicious meal ideas, but also member-only discounts! 

If it's been a while since last you exercised, if you've never participated in a fitness program before, or if you have significant health issues, please talk to your doctor first before beginning the yourwellness for Families program.

Yes, there are things we can do on our own to optimize our health and wellbeing, but to engage in healthy activities as a wellness community may help improve not only physical health, but emotional and even spiritual wellbeing, too.
