What About Synthroid?

Hypothyroidism, or low thyroid hormone output, is very common especially among women.

The reason for high rates of hypothyroidism is as yet unknown, but the treatment is often relatively straightforward - provide needed thyroid hormone.

A number of drug options exist but the most commonly used is the synthetic agent synthroid. Even though it is synthetic in nature, it is usually both a safe and effective way to supply thyroid hormone when prescribed appropriately. Read More>>
