It's the time of the year when we take time to pause and give thanks for the abundance in our lives.

One of the best ways to give thanks is to give back.

There are many this holiday season who have to do without. If you are so inclined, reach out to those in need with a helping hand. It does the recipient and the giver good, and deepens the meaning of the season.

The people of Haiti have experienced unspeakable tragedy in recent years, much of it due to the forces of nature.

News and images of the damage caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti leave us feeling sad, wanting to reach out and help, but unsure of what to do.
