Sugary Drinks - Not So Sweet?
Created on 2/26/2010
Sugar is not an evil thing! But it should be enjoyed much more in natural forms (fruits and veggies) than in highly processed food and drink.

Recent data suggest that drinking sugary drinks, even just 2-3 per week, may increase the risk for a very challenging illness - pancreatic cancer.

Orthorexia?
Created on 2/19/2010

A recent Time magazine article reported that a new mental health diagnosis is being considered – orthorexia, presently loosely defined as an obsession with trying to avoid apparently unhealthy foods.

This might be one of those occasions because it's likely you'll be surrounded by people you love, and sometimes food that's good for your heart isn't the same as the food that's good for your soul. On Sunday, it's okay to enjoy some "soul" food (just not too much!). Read More>>
