Harris Teeter took possession of the Maybank Highway location on Oct. 13, 2013. Harris Teeter will close the store for approximately one year to remodel the store. The Company is in the process of submitting building plans to its landlord James Island Center, LLC and more information will be available when details for the remodel are confirmed and building permits are secured.

Harris Teeter also has plans to remodel the other stores it acquired; those locations will remain open during the remodel and additional information will be available once remodel plans are finalized.

We appreciate the community’s patience at this time and continue to work diligently with each of our new landlords to provide for a seamless transition between store banners.

Harris Teeter will also donate to Lowcountry Food Bank all dairy products as well as select frozen, grocery and non-food items remaining in the stores on the date of closing.
