Harris Teeter, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Announce Line-Up for Chef’s Best
Charlotte, N.C. – Chef’s Best is returning to the Charlotte Convention Center Crown Ballroom on Aug. 9, 2013, and will once again feature Charlotte’s best chefs, helping to raise funds for hunger relief. The theme this year is “The Cowboy, An Event Featuring Beef,” and participating chefs will create their assigned courses to incorporate beef.
Harris Teeter and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina announced today the chef lineup which includes: Executive Chef Jon Fortes of Mimosa Grill, Executive Chef Tom Dyrness of Upstream, Executive Chef Gene Briggs of Blue Restaurant & Bar, Executive Chef Tom Condron of The Liberty, and Pastry Chef Stephanie Nikolic of e2 emeril’s eatery.
The event includes a reception catered by the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Charlotte, a four-course meal, a live auction and a raffle. Maureen O’Boyle of WBTV is returning as emcee as well.
