Charlotte, N.C. – Harris Teeter Together in Education has been helping schools earn cash since 1998 and this week is announcing an additional way to earn money for your school with Box Tops for Education.
Jan. 11 – Jan. 17, 2012, shoppers who purchase any eight participating Box Tops for Education products in a single shopping visit, will receive 50 bonus Box Tops for their school courtesy of Together in Education.

General Mills launched Box Tops for Education in California in 1996 on cereals like Cheerios®, Total® and Lucky Charms® and has grown the program to include hundreds of participating products. Shoppers earn cash for their children’s schools by turning in Box Tops coupons from participating products. During the 2010/2011 school year, General Mills donated over $59 million to schools through the Box Tops for Education program.
