Harris Teeter Encourages Shoppers to Turn Waste to Worth with Engaged Recycling
Support local schools and earn Harris Teeter gift cards by recycling your gently used electronics

Charlotte, NC – Harris Teeter partnered with Engaged Recycling in April 2010 to reward customers for promoting a sustainable future through an online program that makes it easy to safely recycle electronics.

There are two ways for customers to participate in Engaged Recycling and earn money:  donate individual items for recycling or start a recycling fundraising program at a Harris Teeter Together in Education school.  When customers recycle their gently used electronic device through Engaged Recycling, Harris Teeter donates one dollar to the Together in Education school of their choice.  Shoppers can also choose to donate their entire recycling reward to the Together in Education school of their choice, and schools can host a recycling fundraising program to raise money to support vital programs or purchase supplies necessary for the classroom.
