Harris Teeter Partners with MyBoneYard to Expand Recycling Program and Help Customers Earn Money
Company launches online system making it easy for customers to recycle electronic devices

Charlotte, NC – Harris Teeter recently partnered with MyBoneYard to develop an online program that makes it easy for customers to safely recycle electronics and earn money.  The web site, which goes live on April 22, provides customers with a free and convenient way to donate individual items for recycling, order collection materials for a one-time collection event, or start a recycling fundraising program to support local schools.

Customers with electronic devices they wish to recycle should click on the About Us section of our web site, visit the Sustainability page and click on the Engaged Recycling link to be connected to the appropriate page.  Indicate the make, model and overall condition of the item they wish to recycle and after answering a few simple questions, they will be instantly provided with an estimated amount for the donation.  The customer can accept the reward in the form of Harris Teeter gift cards or donate the dollar amount to the Together in Education school of their choice.  Harris Teeter will also provide the customers with a prepaid shipping label and voucher to send in their electronic device at no cost.
