Harris Teeter’s Haiti Earthquake Relief Campaign Raises $663,549
Harris Teeter kicked-off campaign by donating $25,000 to American Red Cross International Relief Fund
Charlotte, NC – Harris Teeter has accounted for the last Haiti Earthquake Relief donation card sold in its stores and raised $638,549 through donation card sales in support of the American Red Cross’ relief efforts in Haiti.
All Harris Teeter stores sold $1 and $5 donation cards to benefit the American Red Cross International Relief Fund. The campaign officially ended on 31st of January; however, Harris Teeter continued to receive checks earmarked for the American Red Cross until as recent as Tuesday. Including the $25,000 donation the company made to the American Red Cross at the beginning of the campaign, the total donation to the American Red Cross is $663,549.
Harris Teeter would like to thank each and every generous customer who contributed to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Donation Card Campaign for their support.
