Potatoes and the Irish are forever linked, and for St. Patrick’s Day Harris Teeter is offering shoppers stuffed spuds for just 60 cents a person.  Each stuffed spud serves two-three people and costs $5 and we are offering five varities*:

Harris Teeter also has special savings on other Irish staples including corned beef, cabbage and (green) beer.  Farmers Market fresh green cabbage is on sale for St. Patrick’s Day as is Corned Beef Brisket and any number of beverages that can be dyed green to inspire the luck of the Irish.   Also, four days only starting March 12 – March 15, Harris Teeter is offering a 15% case discount on wine.  Shoppers can purchase any variety of wine including our ‘green’ Earth Wise wine that is produced on vineyards that practice sustainable farming.

When the celebration starts to subside, shoppers should plan to treat their guests with delicious sweets.  Harris Teeter is offering an array of decorative cupcakes, cakes, message cookies and Irish soda bread.  Please call the Fresh Foods Bakery at least twenty-four hours in advance for special orders.
Harris Teeter encourages shoppers to take home all of their St. Patrick’s goodies in Harris Teeter’s green reusable shopping bag, only 99 cents with a VIC card.
