Harris Teeter is Helping Local Community Affected by the Water Contamination with FREE Water
Two trucks containing 9,000 gallon containers of water will arrive in Greenville, NC TODAY

Charlotte, NC – Harris Teeter is helping Pitt County residents get back to normal in the wake of the recent water contamination. Today, two tractor-trailers left the Harris Teeter Distribution Center in Greensboro, NC heading to Greenville, NC with 9,000 gallon containers of FREE Water.  The Harris Teeter trucks will arrive at Harris Teeter stores located at 2120 E. Firetower Road and 1400 Charles Boulevard this evening June 25, 2008.

Harris Teeter is listening. “Our customers have told us that they need water, so that’s exactly what we sent –for FREE,” said Harris Teeter President, Fred Morganthall. “This is an opportunity to thank our customers, provide a much needed service, and to just be a good neighbor,” Morganthall adds.
