The Race Festival also provides the community an opportunity to raise funds for the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Harris Teeter announced its pledge of $150,000 to sponsor the Harris Teeter Pit Stop at the Victory Junction Gang Camp at the 14th Annual Harris Teeter Race Festival. The Pit Stop is the camp store at Victory Junction. Here, campers can get necessities or purchase souvenirs for their family or friends. There is also a snack shop and soda fountain in the Pit Stop.
A $15,000 check will be presented to the Victory Junction Gang Camp during our press conference.
Harris Teeter has set the $5 per car donation to help raise funds for this worthy cause. Victory Junction Gang Camp, founded by NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and his wife, Pattie, in honor of their late son, Adam, provides camp sessions year-round for children ages 7-15 living with life-threatening illnesses.
