Harris Teeter Opens New Store at Colony Place
Charlotte's newest Harris Teeter at Colony & Rea Roads rolls out the red carpet for customers
Charlotte, NC - Earlier this morning customers lined up for a first glimpse at the newest Harris Teeter at Colony Place, 7823 Colony Road in Charlotte, NC.

Store Manager Tommy Franklin rallied the 140 employees along with Co-Managers Daniel Hinson, Todd Larson, & Ayisha Butts for the grand opening ceremonies. G. Steele Dewey, III, the developer of Colony Place cut the ribbon with Harris Teeter representatives.

The store will be open from 7:00am to 11:00pm daily to serve shoppers. The Pharmacy will be open Monday – Saturday from 9:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from Noon – 6:00pm to help customers with their prescriptions and health needs.

At 49,982 square feet the new store will feature, full-service meat, certified Angus Beef, a rotisserie program, a sandwich program in the full-service deli, fresh cut flowers, imported beers, natural foods, organic produce section, European pastries, international foods, ice cream cakes, full-service seafood, sushi, parcel pick-up, USCAN, salad bar, La Brea bread station, fresh fruit bar, specialty foods, cigars, a wine consultant and wine department, and much more.

"We're offering customers in this immediate area a brand-new neighborhood market, and we're looking forward to serving them in our new location," notes Store Manager, Tommy Franklin. With great programs like Rancher Beef and our new Farmer's Market produce, we feel shoppers will be able to get the freshest products with the high-quality customer service they have come to expect from Harris Teeter," Franklin adds.

Our new Green Thumb Experts are carefully trained and certified to help our shoppers select the best produce. They will be on hand to answer questions about an item's nutritional content, help customers learn how to store it properly at home, explain the difference in varieties, and even suggest a few ways they can cook it up for the whole family to enjoy.

Customers can sample a variety of wines from around the world at special wine tastings every afternoon beginning today through November 9th.
