Harris Teeter Gives Shoppers Opportunity to Help Neighbors in Need Just in Time for the Holidays
Now, shoppers can donate to our Harvest Feast Food Drive and help their local food banks stock up for the winter months.
Charlotte, NC Harris Teeter has set up donation bins in every store to help stock the shelves of local food banks just when they need food the most.

"Combating hunger in our community has been a top priority for Harris Teeter since we opened our doors," said Harris Teeter President, Fred Morganthall. "We invite shoppers to help stock their local food banks ¡V because the need is so great during the holidays."

We kicked off our food drive in Raleigh on October 12th, with a dinner for 3,300 children and families in need of a good, hot meal. We'll conclude our six-week food drive with another event in Charlotte on November 28th, to feed even more of our neighbors in need of a good meal. We hope that during that time we can encourage shoppers to donate what they can afford so that food banks can stock their shelves during the winter months.
