Not many children would have the opportunity to watch the undefeated Carolina Panthers from a luxury suite. Harris Teeter knew Make a Wish would be the perfect recipient of the gift and is happy to bring joy to a sick child's life. Make A Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

Erin Hope Martin (age 10), Jacob Courtney (age 4), Kenna Holtzclaw (age 13) and their families were thrilled to learn that they would be able to cheer on the Carolina Panthers in person. Gloria Scienski, Executive Director of Make A Wish shared the parents enthusiasm with Harris Teeter explaining, "this is much-needed fun time for the children." Scienski added, "the game comes at a time when our wish families can use a day of joy."

Harris Teeter felt that watching a Panthers game from our luxury suite wasn't enough. So, we called on Carolina Panther Muhsin Muhammad (Moose) #87 to add a special touch for the kids. Moose took time out of his schedule to autograph five footballs for the wish kids and their siblings. Moose also rallied a couple of his fellow teammates to do the same.

Sir Purr and Harry the Dragon will present the autographed footballs and a goody bag to each child at the beginning of the Second Quarter of Sunday's Game. The wish children and Gloria Scienski will be on hand to share their stories with reporters.
