MEDIA ALERT: Harris Teeter sponsors 4th Annual Wesley Walls Golf Invitational

What: 4th Annual Wesley Walls Invitational Golf Tournament
All proceeds benefit Children's Miracle Network and the United Way
When: Monday, June 16th at 1:00pm
Where: Tournament Players Club at Piper Glen

Over 25 celebrities scheduled to play in the tournament!

From the Carolina Panthers: Wesley Walls (TE), Jarrod Cooper (DB), Kevin Donnalley (G), Brad Hoover (RB), Dean Wells (LB), Patrick Jeffers (WR), Will Witherspoon (LB), Natrone Means (RB).

From the NFL: Steve Beuerlein (QB) with Denver Broncos, Van Jakes retired (CB) for Green Bay Packers, Mike "Scooter" McGruder retired (RB) with New England Patriots.

From the NBA
Anthony "Spud" Webb, retired after 12 years in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks. Dell Curry retired (G-F) for the Charlotte Hornets and Toronto Raptors. Ed Tapscott new Executive Vice President for the Carolina Bobcats and Charlotte Sting WNBA team.

A reception will be held afterwards to present the check for $45,000 to the United Way. And a Charlotte miracle family will be on hand to accept the $45,000 gift on behalf of the Children's Miracle Network.
