MEDIA ALERT: Charlotte - Race Festival May 19th - Over 31 Drivers to Meet Fans

Lead the Pack of over 30 drivers from Winston Cup and Busch series
who will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

What: Harris Teeter Race Festival - FREE to the public

Where: Knights Stadium, 2280 Deerfield Road, Fort Mill, SC

Last year over 12,000 fans came to meet their favorite racecar drivers, bid on racing auction items and sample great food from 25 different vendors. This year, the 12th Annual Harris Teeter Race Festival promises to be the biggest yet!

Over 30 drivers from Winston Cup, Busch, and Truck racing series will be signing autographs and greeting fans. Scheduled to appear: Stanton Barrett, T.J. Bell, Chris Bingham, Mike Bliss, Todd Bodine, Phil Bonifield, Randy Briggs, Stacey Compton, Derrike Cope, Ricky Craven, Adam Dean, Jeff Fuller, David Green, Mike Harmon, Lance Hooper, Shane Hmiel, Andy Houston, Randy LaJoie, Jody Lavendor, Ashton Lewis, Chad Little, Damon Lusk, Jeremy Mayfield, Randy McDonald, Tony Raines, Hermie Sadler, Jimmy Spencer, David Stremme, Mike Wallace, Larry McReynolds, and others.

WSOC radio will be conducting an auction of racing items such as: a driver's suit from Rusty Wallace, autographed t-shirts, postcards, along with t-shirts and hats from Jeff Gordon, Ricky Craven, and Ryan Newman. Money raised from the auction and through donations will go to Motor Racing Outreach.

They'll be fun for the entire family with show cars on display, face painting and kid's activities, racing simulators, and sampling tents. Race fans can sample FREE food from companies like Kraft, General Mills, Frito Lay, Hershey, Perdue Farms, Nabisco, Willy Wonka, McCormick, M&M Mars, Delmonte, Breyers, White House, Crystal Geizer, Heinz, and many more.
