Harris Teeter Continues Expansion in Washington Metropolitan Area
New 24-hour Store to Open in April

ARLINGTON, VA -- Harris Teeter will open the doors to its fifth Northern Virginia store at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24. Located at 2425 N. Harrison Street in Arlington, the two-story, 45,315 square-foot store will employ approximately 115 associates.

Designed for the ultimate in convenience, the store will be open 24 hours a day and offer a carousel U-Scan, which will allow self-checkout for customers. The full-service grocery store will offer shoppers a wide variety of their favorite brand grocery and dairy products, natural and organic food, and international cuisine including, fresh sushi and expanded Hispanic offerings. The Harrison Street Harris Teeter will feature the most expanded wine selection of any grocery store in the area, and an in-store wine consultant will be available to assist customers in their selections. Additionally, the store will offer a pharmacy. Other amenities include expanded fresh food offerings in a deli area that seats 30.

Other Harris Teeter stores in the Northern Virginia area are located in Falls Church, in Fairfax, in Pentagon Row and on Glebe Road in Arlington.
