Harris Teeter's Wesley Walls Invitational Benefits United Way and Children's Miracle Network
CHARLOTTE, NC, May 10, 2001 --- Harris Teeter and Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated are sponsoring the 2nd Annual Wesley Walls Celebrity Golf Invitational on Monday, May 14 at the NorthStone Country Club in Huntersville. The tournament will raise funds for United Way and the Children's Miracle Network.

Tournament players will include Carolina Panther Wesley Walls, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, Frank Wycheck of the Tennessee Titans and former Panther Steve Beuerline. Media representatives will have the opportunity to talk to the players and take photographs beginning at 4:30 p.m.

"Harris Teeter and Coca-Cola selected the United Way and the Children's Miracle Network because of the outstanding work that they do on behalf of our communities," said Fred Morganthall, President of Harris Teeter.
